Here are some facts: Melania Trump is the 45th First Lady of the United States, was born in Slovenia, is fluent in 6 languages, became a permanent resident of the United States in 2001, and obtained U.S. citizenship in 2006. Before she married President Donald Trump, she worked as a model, and by 2016 she considered herself a “full-time mom.” Mrs. Trump is the second foreign-born First Lady of the United States, following Louisa Adams, wife of John Quincy Adams.
There’s something else we all want to know about the First Lady and her beauty: Has she or hasn’t she?
She’s a Natural Beauty
Even the most skeptical plastic surgeons acknowledge the natural beauty of the First Lady. “She was born with her fantastic bone structure,” said Massachusetts-based board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Christine Hamori. “Maybe she’s gotten some fillers, but I honestly think she was born genetically lucky.”
But Come On! Isn’t it Possible She’s had Some ‘Help’ Along the Way?
“I think she’s had small enhancements, but I don’t think she has had any major plastic surgery treatments,” says Dr. Peter Fodor, a Los Angeles-based board certified plastic surgeon. “She’s gorgeous the way she is. The way she presents herself.”
“Certainly some fillers. Certainly some Botox,” says Reno-based board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Tiffany McCormack. “Probably some laser resurfacing. She has a really nice texture to her skin. In regards to breast augmentation, I think it’s likely. And I think she’s probably had rhinoplasty.”
“I think she’s had fillers and some other minor work done,” says board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Patricia McGuire of St. Louis. “But I don’t think she’s had any plastic surgery.”
Other opinions are a touch more definitive….
“Absolutely! Melania Trump, oh she’s had work done, ABSOLUTELY,” says board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Shaun Parson, who practices in Scottsdale. “Face? Breasts? Neck? Yes, yes, and yes!”
Austin board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Whitfield doesn’t have any doubts. “I feel certain she’s had work done. I’m pretty sure she’s had surgery, but definitely she’s utilitized neurotoxins as well as fillers.”
Regardless of the doubting surgeons, Melania denies she’s had anything done. Plastic surgery rumors have been following the First Lady for years thanks to her changing appearance — but she has always denied going under the knife. “I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body,” America’s First Lady told GQ. “I’m against Botox, I’m against injections. I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does.”
Before and Afters say “Maybe”
A number of popular lifestyle and news articles have wondered publicly about Melania Trump’s rumored close encounters with aesthetic ‘help’ through recent years. And given some of the before and after pictures shown in various publications, it’s hard to argue against the ‘she’s had something done’ camp.
Maybe a Better Question… Who Cares?
When The Plastic Surgery Channel asked Seattle-based board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Baxter what he thought about the ‘does she or doesn’t she’ First Lady debate, he kindly begged off. “Hah! Honestly, I really don’t want to go there,” he said.
Across the country in Charlotte, board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Stephan Finical answered our question with one of his own: “Who cares? She looks great. She looks fantastic. I don’t think anyone should care.”
“She comes from a country or countries where beautiful cheeks go on for miles,” says Dr. Sean Doherty, a board certified plastic surgeon in Boston. “And she has them. She’s a beautiful woman. So if she’s had plastic surgery, it is very good plastic surgery.”
Regardless of if she has or hasn’t, board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Mike Lee of Dallas says we’re looking at the wrong person. He insists we should change our focus to the other half of The First Couple: “The question really is whether The Donald has [had plastic surgery],” Dr. Lee says smiling. “And I fully expect when he’s done with his presidency that he will come see me for a face lift.”
