No Spin Live Episode 91 – US Surgeons Share Thoughts on CoronaVirus CVD-19

As CVD-19, now commonly known as CoronaVirus, continues to send the entire world towards drastic social and economic measures, more and more citizens are having to personally react. Whether this means staying out of the gym, off the ski slopes, stocking up at the grocery store, or even having to wonder if they should be around their elderly family members, the sails of panic have begun to fill with a mighty wind.

Often mentioned on The Plastic Surgery Channel is how plastic surgeons are always physicians first. While they do perform a variety of different procedures and  surgery, patient safety and health is always paramount. For this reason, Dr. William P. Adams Jr. invited a number of his board certified plastic surgeon colleagues, Dr. Dustin Reid of Austin, Texas, Dr. Jason Pozner of Boca Raton, and Dr. Pat McGuire of St. Louis, to a special edition of No Spin Live to discuss the ongoing crisis and share the thoughts of renowned physicians.

During the discussion the physicians also recognize the importance of the public adhering to social distancing and minimizing the early spread of the virus. There are many unknowns but through medical innovation treatments already being developed and as more data comes out it will become more clear exactly what the denominator of cases which is actually critical to evaluating this virus accurately.
