On Episode 103 of No Spin Live, board certified plastic surgeons Dr. Kristi Hustak of Houston, Texas, Dr. Mark D. Epstein of Hauppauge, New York, Florida, and Dr. Jason Pozner of Boca Raton, Florida detail the latest in the battle against COVID-19. One lingering effect of the pandemic is a sweeping change in the workplace, or rather the lack thereof. Most all but “essential workers” have suddenly found themselves working from home full-time, and seemingly for the rest of summer, if not fall, too. Many have discovered this work from home (WFH) environment to be very beneficial for their mental health, for juggling multiple responsibilities, and even improving their overall work productivity.
Others are thinking about the time in terms of the plastic surgery they were planning to have done. The WFM situation has offered another great benefit: more than enough time to stay at home and recover from surgery without having to take off large amounts of time, or be forced to see friends or family while recovering. The veteran surgeons discuss what kinds of procedures would be great to have done during the summer in order to take advantage of this unique time.
