Collagen Implants: The Facts about Zyderm and Zyplast

The area must be monitored for four weeks following the initial contact before treatment can be administered.

Side Effects of Zyderm / Zyplast
After a Zyderm Zyplast treatment you may experience tenderness, redness, swelling or bruising in the treated area, but this usually disappears within a day or two.  It is also vital to discuss with your doctor your medical history and allergies before undergoing the treatment. Allergic reactions are rare, but they can occur, especially if the spot test is not monitored closely.
