Bruce W. Van Natta, MD

As a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Bruce W. Van Natta, M.D. has expertise in a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures.

Dr. Bruce Van Natta is a highly respected and experienced board certified plastic surgeon in Indianapolis. He received his board certification in 1991 and is an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Van Natta earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He went on to complete a post-graduate internship at Indiana University Hospitals of Indianapolis, where he also completed his general surgery residency. Dr. Van Natta then completed a three-month fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Louisville Hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky. From 1986 to 1988, he completed his residency training in Plastic Surgery at Indiana University Hospitals in Indianapolis.

Dr. Van Natta is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and holds the appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Plastic Surgery Section of Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. In addition, he serves as an advisor to Allergan Corporation and is a principal investigator in six clinical trials associated with breast implants for breast augmentation and breast reconstruction following mastectomy. He currently is working on research projects with Zeltiq and Ulthera as well.
