Dr. Paul N. Afrooz is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Miami, Florida. Dr. Afrooz earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University before pursuing his Medical Degree from the prestigious Chicago Medical School – Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. He completed his plastic surgery residency at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, well known amongst plastic surgeons as one of the oldest and most prestigious plastic surgery training programs in the world. While at the University of Pittsburgh, he gained extensive experience in cancer and trauma reconstruction while also advancing his interest in modern aesthetic surgery.

Following residency training, Dr. Afrooz was selected for fellowship training at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. This fellowship position is the most highly coveted and competitive aesthetic fellowship in the country, and Dr. Afrooz was selected from a large pool of national candidates on the merits of his distinction in research, plastic surgery education, technical skill, and on the recommendation of his mentors and peers.

He has authored numerous articles and chapters on facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, and revision rhinoplasty in peer-reviewed publications, including the leading Journal of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is a frequently invited lecturer and educator nationally and internationally.

Dr. Afrooz has served as invited faculty for the Cutting-Edge Aesthetic Surgery Symposium, the Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting and has traveled to other countries to lecture on facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty. He has most recently traveled to Shanghai, China and Durban South Africa, where he lectured and performed live surgery. He continues to serve as an annual faculty member for the Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium, the most prestigious rhinoplasty educational symposium in the world.
