Sean Arredondo, MD

Sean Arredondo, M.D., brings his passion for plastic surgery and his extensive education and training to Austin Plastic Surgeon. Dr. Arredondo’s higher education began in San Antonio at the University of the Incarnate Word, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While obtaining his degree, he participated in the Early Medical School Selection Program in partnership with Boston University.

After completing his undergraduate education in historic Boston, he decided to return to his home state of Texas for medical school. Dr. Arredondo attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, a nationally renowned institution, where he studied under industry leaders and trusted names in the surgical world. This inspired him to pursue a residency in surgery, and he bolstered his training through Baylor University Medical Center, where he completed five years of General Surgery.

During his residency, Dr. Arredondo was first drawn to the power, creativity, and healing nature of plastic surgery while assisting with multiple cancer and traumatic reconstructive procedures. As a result, he and his family moved to Columbus so he could complete a three-year fellowship in Plastic Surgery at The Ohio State University.

He’s gained experience in the full breadth of plastic surgery — from advanced microvascular reconstructive procedures to cutting edge-aesthetic surgeries.

Dr. Arredondo and his family are thrilled to return home to the Texas Hill Country and work with Austin Plastic Surgeon. He is compassionate and dedicated to his patients, and he takes great care to understand and assess their goals and desires through open, honest discussion. Through his service, Dr. Arredondo strives to forever impact his patients’ lives by restoring or enhancing their appearance, helping them achieve the results they’ve always dreamed of.
