Stafford R. Broumand, MD

 

Dr. Stafford R. Broumand is a Harvard trained plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He also holds a faculty position as an Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Broumand attended medical school at Yale University and completed his residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He also trained in Plastic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School, then continued on staff there completing his fellowship in burn reconstruction. He also completed a fellowship in cosmetic and craniofacial surgery at the College des Medicines de Paris, France – Hospital Necker.

Dr. Broumand has received many acclaimed awards and honors, including, “Top Doctors: New York Metro Area” Castle Connolly Ten Year Award, from 2000 to 2010, and “Who’s Who in America”, from 2008 to 2010. He has also received the “Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare” award from 2009 to 2012, the “Who’s Who in Science and Engineering” award from 2011 to 2012, the “Who’s Who in the East” award from 2010 to 2012 and was additionally featured in New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors” from 2006 to 2012 and Super Doctors for 2013. Along with his renowned awards, Dr. Stafford R. Broumand is an active member in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgery, the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation and the Massachusetts General Hospital Surgical Society. He is also the President elect at the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons.
